This course is part of the Business Analysis Certificate Program, offered through a unique collaboration between George Mason University and Orion Development Group.

Professionals like business analysts, who can gather, assess and validate requirements and who can communicate well with numerous stakeholders, can drive projects to successful conclusions. According to the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA™), the business analyst works as a liaison among stakeholders to enable improvements that deliver value for the enterprise and its customers. The BA bridges the gap between business users and solution providers, translating business needs into useable requirements.

The Business Analysis Certificate Program is designed to give you a foundation in all areas covered in IIBA’s version 3.0 of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK). In addition this program will help prepare you for the IIBA’s Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification™.

It is highly recommended that Business Analysis Success (3.0): Creating the Strategic Context for Mission-Critical Projects is taken first. Remaining certificate courses may be taken in any order.

In addition to obtaining a Business Analysis Certificate of Completion, this program will help prepare you for IIBA’s Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification exam. These courses satisfy the 21 hours of business analysis professional development required to apply for CBAP certification.
