As part of your course, you will receive the 2016 SHRM Learning System® for SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP. This new and comprehensive program is designed by global subject matter experts and covers the entire SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge™ (SHRM BoCK™). Throughout the program HR professionals are encouraged to acquire the Competencies and Knowledge they'll need to effectively perform their jobs and achieve career success.     SmartStudy steps to success

    • ASSESS: Complete the online assessments to determine your current knowledge and gaps, with the results weighted against tested areas on the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification exam.
    • STUDY: Use assessment results to identify your learning priorities, create your personal study plan, estimate study time and apply learned knowledge.

    SHRM-CP AND SHRM-SCP CERTIFICATION DETAILS

    To earn your SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP you must meet specific educational and work experience criteria at the time you submit your certification exam application in order to be eligible to sit for the exam. For details on these requirements, visit www.shrmcertification.org/eligibility.

    SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP™) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP™) are poised to become the new standard for all HR professionals around the globe, as it is among the first HR certifications that is focused on teaching and testing the practical, real-life information HR professionals need to excel in their careers today, including behavioral competencies, knowledge and skills.

    Test Windows and Registration Dates

    Spring Window: May 1-July 15, 2016
    Application Deadline: March 25
    Late Application Deadline: April 15

    Certification Cycle
    All credentials are valid for three years. Recertification is required every three years through demonstrated professional development (preferred method) or retaking the exam.

    CERTIFICATE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

    Sample George Mason University Certificate of Completion

    12 Week Classes- To receive a Certificate of Completion from George Mason University and SHRM, participants cannot have more than three absences. Participants also must complete the Assessment and Module and Post exams by the deadline specified by your instructor.

    7 Week Classes- To receive a Certificate of Completion from George Mason University and SHRM, participants cannot have more than one absence. Participants also must complete the Assessment and Module and Post exams by the deadline specified by your instructor.

    Online Classes- To receive a Certificate of Completion from George Mason University and SHRM, participants must complete all online assignments and the Assessment and Module and Post exams by the deadline specified by your instructor.
